Socrata was acquired by Tyler Technologies in 2018 and is now the Data and Insights division of Tyler. The platform is still powered by the same software formerly known as Socrata but you will see references to Data & Insights going forward.

    After a period of experimentation, the Export API was sunsetted and is no longer available.

    Through Socrata Labs, we’re excited to announce the beta launch of our new Export API. The new export service allows you to more efficiently export any public Socrata dataset, including the ability to filter that export by any valid SoQL Query.

    Check out the documentation and send us feedback. Like all Socrata Labs APIs, the Export API is beta, and subject to change as we get feedback from the community.
