Socrata was acquired by Tyler Technologies in 2018 and is now the Data and Insights division of Tyler. The platform is still powered by the same software formerly known as Socrata but you will see references to Data & Insights going forward.

    After several months of trial, we’ve decided to deprecate the beta-version Socrata Labs “Export” API in favor of a solution more tightly integrated with our other APIs. That service will be discontinued in the near future.

    We’ll be working on a new version of the Export API that is better integrated and more reliable than the beta version. In the meantime, we’ve raised the maximum $limit on our newest API endpoints to allow you to get export-like functionality by simply specifying a row count greater than the number of rows in the dataset.
